Job Description:
GEMS Wesgreen International School was established in 1991 and came under the GEMS family of Schools in 2017. It is a National Curriculum for England School with 3500+ students.

Wesgreen Interenational School is a BSO (British Schools Overseas) accredited school and is recognised by the department for education (DfE) in the UK for its high-quality education provision. We are looking to appoint a Head of the Art Department to join our team at GEMS Wesgreen International School for August 2024. The school has a focus on high academic standards, computational thinking, social and emotional education as well as inclusivity to allow all students to succeed through a range of academic and vocational pathways.

The successful applicant will have the following:
A B.Ed or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge
Significant post qualified teaching experience
Previous department leadership experience a plus
A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning
Willingness to commit to extra curricular activities
A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
