Primary purpose of job: Lead and perform overall business process analysis and recommend the improvement and automation opportunities in order to re-design the business process as to achieve more efficient results and operational effectiveness and excellence of the Finance & Planning Directorate Lead system implementation initiatives within Finance & Planning Directorate and act as a bridge between Finance & Planning Directorate and ICT-SAP in the support of system changes, improvements and automation initiatives Advise on the adequacy of financial systems and system authorisation controls to ensure that an adequate financial systems / system controls are in place to facilitate accounting for and reporting on the financial and accounting transactions Experience & Skills: 12+ years’ experience in Financial Systems set-up with adequate exposure to SAP ERP and SAP systems controls preferably within Oil & Gas Industry 5+ years within major oil company Analytical skills (SWOT and GAP) Analysis Organizational and Time Management / Project Management Problem solving, innovative and complex accounting and financial issue Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Postgraduate degree (M com/ MSc or MBA) is considered a plus A recognized professional qualification (ACCA or CPA) is an added advantage SAP Training or Qualification / Certification is an added advantage
