SOC Level 2 (L2) Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced SOC L2 Security Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents while supporting the organization’s Security Operations Center (SOC). The role involves threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, and continuous improvement of security controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and events.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Perform threat analysis and incident correlation.
• Support incident response, containment, and remediation activities.
• Optimize SIEM use cases, correlation rules, and alerting mechanisms.
• Maintain security incident documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen security posture.
• Mentor junior SOC analysts when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SOC, cybersecurity, or incident response roles.
• Strong experience with SIEM and EDR solutions.
• Solid understanding of network security, operating systems, and cyber threats.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, CEH, Security+, SC-200, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel (Azure Sentinel).
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Experience in enterprise or government security environments.
