Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies and plans for effective facility management aligned with Emaar Malls' objectives and standards. Develop and implement contract management strategies and performance measurement metrics to enable FM team to utilize it as a tool to measure the performance of SP’s Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, escalators, elevators, and other essential infrastructure components and/or Soft FM cleaning, pest control, landscaping and waste management Develop and manage Opex , Capex & Utilities budget with rational justification for the expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation without compromising quality. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards. Implement and maintain emergency preparedness plans. Develop Business continuity plan for activities related to FM impacting the Malls Business operations Collaborate with other stakeholders in the malls like RRD, RDT , Leasing, ERU Security & HSE to align FM services with these stakeholders expectations. Collaborate with tenants to address facility-related concerns, foster positive relationships, and support their needs within the mall environment. Lead and motivate a team of facilities management professionals, providing guidance, training, coaching, mentoring and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Technology Integration: Implement innovative technologies and systems to enhance facility operations, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency. Develop and provide regular reports to senior management on facility performance, key metrics, and propose improvements. Facilitate effective communication across departments and stakeholders. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance with regulations. Implement and oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards in facilities and services Be up to date with the latest industry developments and technological advances. Bring innovation to the table. Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline and masters in Facility Management would be a plus. 10 years in a related technical role with at least 5 years of experience managing teams, at least 5 years of experience in large infrastructures such as Malls, Exhibition centers, theme parks or airports, at least 5 years of experience managing contracts (as contractor or as client) and at least 2 years of experience in reporting to Senior Management. In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, energy management, and sustainability initiatives. RCM Facilitator, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt would be a Plus
