Senior Document Controller (Data Center projects)

Location: Qatar

An exciting opportunity for experienced Senior Document Controller to join a rapidly expanding organisation delivering cutting-edge Data Centre, Cloud and AI Infrastructure Projects across the Middle East & Europe.

The successful candidate will act as the focal point for document management processes, collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, and help drive best-in-class information management standards across complex, high-value projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead document control activities across multiple engineering and construction projects.
  • Manage project documentation, drawings, technical submissions, reports and correspondence.
  • Oversee document registers, transmittals, approval workflows and revision controls.
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures, naming conventions and document management standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders regarding submissions and approvals.
  • Monitor document status, review cycles and project deliverables to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Support project closeout activities, handover documentation and as-built records.
  • Produce document control reports and provide regular updates to project leadership teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years’ experience as a Document Controller, Senior Document Controller, or Project Document Control Specialist
  • 5+ years’ experience within Data Centres, Engineering Consultancy, MEP or Mission-Critical Projects.
  • Strong knowledge of document control procedures, information management, document lifecycle management, and project administration.
  • Experience using leading document management systems including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, and other Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.
