As a Hostess, you’re not just greeting and seating guests, you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering memorable first impressions that make every guest’s stay truly special.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

Create a warm welcome: Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive

Manage seating and reservations: Coordinate guest seating, maintain reservation lists, and ensure efficient table management to provide a smooth dining experience

Enhance the guest experience: Anticipate guest needs, answer questions, and proactively look for ways to make every visit memorable

Coordinate with the restaurant team: Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction

Maintain an organized reception area: Keep the host stand, waiting area, and entrance clean, welcoming, and well-organized at all times

Comply with company and safety standards: Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality
