Required Fire Fighting Engineer

Summary: The Fire Fighting Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of fire protection systems across project sites in Qatar. This position requires a technically proficient professional with hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire fighting systems, aligned with Qatar Civil Defence (QCD) regulations. The engineer is responsible for overseeing system performance, conducting inspections, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role is essential to upholding safety standards, minimizing risks, and ensuring project deliverables are met on time and in full compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire fighting systems
• Ensure all systems comply with QCD and relevant safety standards
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on-site
• Conduct inspections and identify technical issues in fire protection systems
• Monitor the performance of fire pumps, hydrant systems, sprinklers, hose reels, and related equipment
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and site documentation
• Support ongoing projects and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support as required
• Ensure all work is executed safely and professionally

Requirements

Requirements:

• QCD approved Fire Fighting Engineer
• Valid Qatar driving license is mandatory
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Qatar
• Visa transfer is required
• Immediate joining preferred
• Indian visas available for Engineers
• Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems and fire safety standards
• Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate site activities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
