🔍 Job Summary The Registered Nurse – Outpatient provides professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient/ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, administering treatments and medications, assisting with procedures, and educating patients and families on health management. The role ensures quality, safe, and compassionate care in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational policies while supporting physicians and the healthcare team.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient/ambulatory setting.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist physicians with outpatient procedures and diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, and progress in medical records.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
  • Support patient triage and prioritize care based on urgency.
  • Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care.
  • Ensure proper handling of equipment, supplies, and clinical resources.

🎓 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable country/state.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient procedures, clinical protocols, and patient care standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional ethics.
