Public Area Cleaner

As a Public Area Cleaner, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness of public areas, following the guidance of Supervisors and adhering to hotel/ restaurant policies and procedures.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all restaurant public areas before, during, and after operating hours.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish restaurant floors.
• Clean entrances, waiting areas, and reception areas.
• Sanitize tables, chairs, high chairs, and other guest-contact surfaces as required.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
• Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and display areas.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
• Refill cleaning supplies and restroom amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations and beverage stations.
• Promptly clean spills to ensure guest safety.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist with deep cleaning schedules and special cleaning tasks.
• Ensure the restaurant maintains a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment throughout service.
• Support the restaurant team with cleanliness-related requests during busy periods.
• Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
