Oracle APEX Developer

Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) is looking for an Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database technologies.

This is a hands-on development role requiring strong expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, database development, integrations, and application performance optimization to deliver scalable and secure business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Oracle APEX applications
• Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects
• Build responsive web applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
• Optimize application performance and database queries
• Manage application enhancements, troubleshooting, and bug fixes
• Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, and deployment activities
• Prepare technical documentation and support production releases
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements & Key Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development
• Strong expertise in Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
• Knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and query optimization
• Experience integrating Oracle applications with third-party systems
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Oracle APEX certification is a plus
