Job Description: The SAP MDG Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) module and related systems. The candidate expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, as well as ensure that the systems are maintained to meet business requirements Responsibilities include: Provide technical support and guidance for SAP MDG and related systems Collaborate with business and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner Analyze and debug ABAP code related to SAP MDG and other relevant modules Maintain and support integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address issues Develop and maintain technical documentation and support materials Participate in the testing of enhancements and new features to ensure system stability and compatibility Work with vendors and consultants to resolve complex technical issues Implement and support SAP MDG solutions for master data domains such as Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance, and HR Work on SAP MDG configuration and data modeling to resolve data quality issues, defect raised by business stakeholders Provide service desk support for data related requests and issues, including assistance with user queries and clarifications, defects resolution, and new requirements Requirements: EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance application support or related field Knowledge of integration between Data Governance Tool (SAP) and other SAP and non-SAP systems Experience in implementing UAE data governance processes is a plus EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field KEY SKILLS: Ability of ABAP programming and debugging Deep understanding of SAP HANA database structure and SAP Fiori Usage of Data migration and data quality management tools Solid understanding of Roles and Authorization (GRC) Access management and practical skill in creating/ managing roles Change management and transport management FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: SAP S4HANA specific in customer, vendor, financial, and material master objects Fiori and catalogue management SAP Solution manager for transport management BRF and workflows creation/ enhancements BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: Strong work ethic and commitment to quality Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders Problem-solver Strong attention to detail
