Lead AI QA Engineer – Immediate Start

Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Mission

Design, build, and scale reliable automated testing for regulated clinical systems, ensuring traceability, data integrity, audit readiness, and high release confidence.

Core Responsibilities

· Define automation strategy (Smoke, Sanity, Regression) using risk-based (GxP) approach

· Own automation KPIs (stability, flaky rate, execution time, defect leakage)

· Design and maintain automation frameworks (Playwright preferred)

· Ensure requirement-to-test traceability and audit-ready evidence

· Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines

· Collaborate with QA Lead on DoR/DoD and release readiness Mentor QA engineers and conduct code reviews

Mandatory Skills & Experience

· 7+ years of QA experience, 4+ years automation experience.

· Strong Playwright and Katalon / Selenium experience

· Programming: Python / TypeScript / C#

· API automation (REST)

· CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket)

· Jira with Xray or Zephyr

· Evidence-driven testing mindset

· Experience working inf regulated environments (finance, health, pharma etc)

 

Regulatory & Quality Standards

· Audit-ready documentation and evidence

· Controlled change and defect management

 

Automation Standards (Definition of Done)

· Deterministic and stable tests

· CI execution with defined thresholds

· Evidence artifacts (reports, logs, screenshots)

· Linked to requirements and test management tools

· Governed flaky test handling

Tooling Expectations

· Playwright (preferred)

· Git, CI/CD pipelines

· Jira + Xray/Zephyr

· Reporting – Allure / HTML

· API tools: Postman / Newman

Nice to Have

· Clinical systems experience with understanding of GxP / CSV principles, familiar with 21 CFR Part 11 and data integrity (ALCOA+)

· Performance or security testing exposure

· Experience testing ML and Generative AI solutions

· Understanding of evaluation frameworks (non-deterministic testing) and tooling

· Experience leveraging AI to assist with test efficiency

· Experience with Langchain and Langsmith tooling
