Information Technology Network Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and MPLS environments. The role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across business operations while maintaining network stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and MPLS network infrastructure.
• Ensure secure and reliable internet connectivity with strong access control and security measures.
• Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Manage network systems, domain access, and administrative operations.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Evaluate and optimize network performance and recommend upgrades.
• Support incident resolution and ensure compliance with IT policies and ITIL practices.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, AD, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Server environments (2003/2008/2012), Exchange, IIS, ISA.
• Experience with Cisco/HP/Juniper networking and server/storage environments.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ITIL framework.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in risk assessment and infrastructure compliance.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Certifications: MCSE / MCITP, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or VMware (preferred).
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Windows Server administration.
