Our client is seeking a Global Engineering Lead to serve as the strategic single point of contact for our long-standing partnership with a premier global consumer goods firm. The Role: What You’ll Do You will be the single point of contact for technical services delivery, responsible for harmonising engineering excellence across diverse geographies: Strategic Oversight: Ensure high client satisfaction through consistent service delivery, process alignment, and standardised reporting across multiple regions. Technical Leadership: Lead and support global technical teams, overseeing recruitment, performance, development, and well-being. Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient operation of engineering services to meet contractual obligations and align with the Group Standards. Risk & Compliance: Develop and enforce SOPs, EHS protocols, and capital planning while monitoring and managing engineering risk documentation. Technology Enablement: Support and optimise the use of their FM tool for asset data and work-order management, ensuring complete data integrity. Trusted Advisory: Review lessons from incidents to ensure close-out actions and provide expert technical advice to support executive decision-making. Who You Are We are looking for a systematic, analytical leader with a proven track record in asset management and the delivery of technical services at scale. Must-Haves: Technical Credentials: Ideally, a Chartered Engineer or Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Systems); Fellowship of a recognised body (e.g., IET) is preferred. Strategic Experience: Strong leadership background in managing technical services for large-scale global accounts. Commercial Mastery: Skilled in engineering contract management and navigating the commercial aspects of global facilities services. Environment Expertise: Deep knowledge of building engineering services across diverse settings, specifically manufacturing and critical operations.
