Financial Analyst (Qatari National Only)

Position Purpose Summary

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting budget control, management reporting, requisition and contracts review processes, and cash flow reporting. The role ensures that budget transfers, purchase requisitions, management reports are processed and submitted in accurately, timely and in line with beIN media group policies and management requirement. The role also supports enhancing reports, systems and effectively coordinate with end users to improve budget utilization,

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Review and process requisitions in timely manner, ensuring compliance with the approved budgets & policies.
2. Coordinate with end users on budget prioritization to support cost control, savings opportunities and effective utilization of approved budgets.
3. Review contracts and related requests. Ensuring financial and budgetary requirements are properly assessed before approval.
4. Support preparation and submission of consolidated Group reports.
5. Process budget transfers and related journals accurately and on timely basis, ensuring proper approvals and documentation maintained.
6. Support annual budget setting exercise, including coordination with departments and OpCo’s, review submissions and preparation of required reporting templates.
7. Monitor system behaviour and report any discrepancies and enhancement to team leader budgeting and reporting.
8. Support reporting automation and transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy and quality of management reporting.
9. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial, contractual and management information.

Education

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is a must. Professional certification is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 4 years of related experience.
