We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Internal Medicine to join a leading healthcare provider in Qatar. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for adult patients, managing complex medical conditions while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic investigations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists and allied healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Manage patients in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and emergency consultations as required.
  • Provide preventive healthcare services, health education, and lifestyle counseling.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior physicians and medical staff where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety standards, infection control policies, and clinical governance guidelines

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MD, DNB, MRCP, FRCP, Arab Board, or equivalent qualification in Internal Medicine.
  • Board Certification or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience at the Consultant level.
  • Eligibility for or ability to obtain Qatar medical licensure.
  • Strong clinical expertise in managing complex adult medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • PQR Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualified professionals will be given preference.
  • Experience in internationally accredited hospitals is highly desirable
