About the job 🚨 We're Hiring: Chief Electrician ⚡ Telford Offshore is looking for an experienced Chief Electrician to join our DP3 Accommodation / Construction Barge operating in Doha, Qatar. Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in rank on DP DIESEL-ELECTRIC vessels. Holding BOSIET / FOET OPITO certificate. Holding H2S OPITO certificate. Holding DP Maintenance certificate. Operational Roles and Responsibilities: Maintenance of Heli-admin and Helicopter communications. Check that any company or client's electrical / electronic equipment mobilised on board is suitable and compatible to the vessel electrical supplies. Check that the above equipment complies with Rules, Regulations and Standards for electric equipment. Maintaining a spare part stock for electric / electronic equipment. Maintain a detailed log where all maintenance is recorded. DP maintenance. Planned Maintenance System and follow up.
