Qualifications: Must Have: M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree in Anatomy or related field Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in all areas of human Anatomy Record of excellence in teaching and scholarship Preferred Qualifications: Experience with educational technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, 3D digital anatomy models, and other computer-based educational programs Teaching experience in diverse learning modalities (PBL, small groups, lectures, bedside, etc.) Track record of clinical, biomedical, or educational research Essential skills: Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical terminology and procedures in a way that is easy for students to comprehend Strong organizational skills to manage large amounts of information, including student data, course materials and research data Proven capacity to help students understand complex concepts Excellent critical thinking skills to create engaging lessons that challenge students to think clinically Passion for student success Ability to build trust with colleagues and stakeholders Ability to set and achieve goals Adaptive thinking Cultural humility Appreciation for diversity
