KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives & verifies actions taken in payroll system of documents/requests from Employee Services Section on staff alterations, increment advices, leave advices/resumptions, accommodation/education/ travel advances etc. to satisfy requirements of HO employees. Checks/verifies audit trail in payroll system to ensure that all inputs made by Employee Services are accurate and in accordance with Staff Manual and relevant approvals. Verifies and processes payments like leave salaries, education, Air Passage/ vacation allowances, quarterly sales incentive, travel allowances and all other payments outside the payroll to ensure accuracy of information and timeliness of work output. Processes monthly salaries for staff of Etisalat (Etisalat UAE, Group, Etisalat service) including Senior Managers and Directors. Ensures all deductions/recoveries such as telephone charges, car loans, Building loans, pension, travel advances, hotel bills etc. are processed and verified on time in accordance with prescribed accounting rules and procedures. Payroll reconciliation is conducted on a monthly basis, before the disbursement of payroll, in order to ensure payroll accuracy Processes final settlement of resigning employees after obtaining station clearance to ensure recoveries of all outstanding loans and advances. Processes yearly bonus / LTIP to ensure that this is in accordance with the instructions of top management and Employee Services Section. To ensure that all payroll related costs are appropriately accounted and properly maintained. Generates and submits final settlement journal voucher as well as prepares schedules of various control accounts to keep track of all payroll transactions in HO. Salary or Salary related payment cheques, where used, are properly distribute to their beneficiaries and any unclaimed cheques (if any) to be held in safe custody. Performs any other related duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor is Degree in Commerce major in accounting or equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience in Accounts Dept. with experience in processing of payroll in a large organization
