About the Role As a Remote Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles in a dynamic financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, records, and reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support audits and reporting. Monitor financial transactions and perform variance analysis. Generate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to internal controls. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in financial services. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar). Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
