Key Result Areas: Manage maintenance projects / contracts and services for on-time completion within budget, and in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Manage the operational activities of the assigned facilities. Carries out supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by the Qatar Foundation Management for the position. Responsible for preparing, monitoring, controlling, and operating the operation budget for the assigned facilities. Receive & review work request lists, determine priorities, and direct Facility Engineers towards achieving departmental KPIs. Review and approve/return for correction all permits to work system documents, after verifying that all the necessary safety measures are complied with. Check work progress and ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner, meets established work standards & statutory requirements, and is in line with QF procedures. Develop, implement, oversee, and review the progress of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities; provide feedback to Facilities Managers to ensure operational efficiency. Ensure proper reports are kept on all maintenance work carried out by contractors Assist project team as and when needed to carry out snag inspections for completed projects, generate relevant work reports, and highlight to rectify problems identified. Participate in testing and commissioning of new or modified systems, update on-site information and drawings, and record as-built drawings. Conduct performance reviews of critical equipment at regular intervals & make decisions regarding additional required maintenance. Enforce safe working practices and ensure necessary precautions are taken in hazardous work environments. Provide technical advice and training to subordinates and ensure proper use of tools & test equipment. Mentor subordinate by identifying weak and strong areas and identifying training needs and ensure training is provided. Prepare various types of reports including monthly reports, and incident & accident reports. Provide budget inputs and implement & track approved items and activities. Review documentation for work completed and in progress, including timesheets, material costs records, and repair reports, to ensure completeness and accuracy. Ensure maintenance costs are recorded to back-charge the same to appropriate clients. Oversee annual inventory of spare parts, consumables, special tools, & test equipment. Review consumption & evaluate potential interchangeability. Ensure availability of optimum material stocks to cover all eventualities and that salvageable material is reconditioned wherever possible. Carry out related duties such as issuance of Permits to Work, authorization of safety overrides, and enforcement of good housekeeping practices. Use MARAFIQ system to maximize availability & reliability of facilities and minimize Facilities & Infrastructure costs. Adheres to ISO accreditation, regulation of the department. Ensures the activities of the Department conform to ISO 9000 series Quality Management systems, ISO45001series Environmental Management System and ISO 18000 series Occupational Safety Management System requirements. Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, facilities management or any relevant field 6 - 8 years of relevant full-time work experience; 3-5 of which at a supervisory level Professional membership in a recognized engineering organization preferred Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports & communications and articulate ideas clearly and concisely. Arabic proficiency an advantage Proficiency in MS Office applications, ERP/MARAFIQ system, MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD
